Why do you need a separate shampoo for your beard you ask? If you use a normal shampoo, your beard and the skin underneath will eventually feel dry, since shampoo is intended for hair and scalp that usually produce more oil. Beard shampoo is therefore milder and suitable for daily use in beards.
